Please help me get rid of vista and start linux
I am getting rid of vista today and going with open suse 10.3. Any tips on where to find information on linux code using it etc. I don't know hardly anything about linux but im going to use it untill i do so any help would be much apprecitated

I guess i did not clarify either after reading this any web sites books. etc. i have unix using linux any thoughts???? most any appreciated

And here is a link to help you "adapt" to Linux. Coming from Windows, you have to understand that things are often done differently in Linux. Installing software, for example, isn't generally carried out by surfing to a web page, downloading and running an .exe; In Linux you use the software management tool (which you must configure - one of your first jobs) and let it do everything for you.
