After that i tried to redownload it but now all i get are files and when i try to run the executable files it acts like something is running but nothing apears and there is no gui so i am lost. Can anyone tell me how to run this i have gnome on suse10.3. thanks

You will find it much easier to use the package manager for installing software - for SUSE that is Yast. Using the community repositories is also a good idea ... I see from your previous posts you have been having problems with net access which I suggest you cure first.

If you use Yast and the repositories you should have fewer problems than installing direct from rpms, dependencies and setup are done for you. You will also be using packages which should work with your distro.
