I talked to my local linux guru and he did not help me with a single problem i was having but he did point me in the right direction. Thats all i needed im slowly starting to understand this and it is awsome everyone is in awe of compiz and all the neat features you can get. I just wanted to take a second and thank everyone who answered my dumb questions without ridiculing me. anyway thanks and LINUX ROCKS

I don't think the questions you have asked are dumb & we are all learning ... glad you like Linux.

By the way did you get the net access stuff sorted?
