    Can anyone guide me in getting the Video BIOS version for a installed Graphics card in SUSE 9.Is there any utility or tool available.

    thanks for your reply buddy,
    lspci gives the list of pci devices installed.
    is there any other way we can get the complete details of VGA

    "VGA" is in one of your PCI slots - you can "Google" and/or run these commands:

    man lspci
    Code:
    man hwinfo
    ^^ hwinfo is in openSuSE - unsure if you are referring to SLES 9 or *OLD* SUSE 9 (before Novell bought it.)
