Hi,
How do you get MP3's to play on Amarok? I download the libgstflump3dec.so file and saved it int the /usr/lib/gstreamer-0.10 folder as per Fluendo MP3 plug-in for GStreamer instructions but MP3's still won't play. Am I missing something here? Any help will be appreciated...Thanks in advance...Gerard

Have you tried One-Click install?
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.

You could take a look here:
Amarok - openSUSE
Many of us use the xine sound engine packaged by Packman packagers (ie libxine1). If you end up also using the amarok version packaged by Packman packages, in addition to libxine1, you probably should also install the package called "mad".

I tried the One-Click install it had too many dependency errors to install.
Could it be the x86_64 processor I have?

If the one click install didn't go too well, try the instructions here.
