    SUSE 10.3 Sound card problem

    please help to set up Soundblaster XFi xtreme Audio sound card on SUSE Linux 10.3

    Hi! First try to update alsa! Here is a tutorial! If it`s still not working post:

    also as root you can type alsaconf and setup ur card

    Soundblaster may require the user to be a member of the audio group.

    XFi Not supported under alsa

    I have read that there is a beta (or alpha) version of an OSS driver for this card, and you could try searching and installing that driver
