    Yup, thats the point of them. WARNING they are not compatable with everything, but with one, you can run just about every program or its linux equivilent. If there is a specific program that you want, post and we will let you know.

    when in try to set up wine it asks me for my windows directory and it wont go on without that. btw, the program i want to use specificlaly is here.

    I think its asking you to create a virtual windows directory that it will install its self into. I have installed wine once, no MS on the PC at all. Do you just want ot broadcast a radio station? I'm sure there are apps for that. I mean, i sorta did something like that for a while, but i did it through apache. It will suck up your bandwidth like theres no tomorrow. Someone here im sure can post an equivilent. Or you can search for radio linux web in google.

    i put together a hourlong mix that jsut looped. I borrowed some javascript from a friend, i didn't do it very long, it was alot of work. But its cool. Post in the servers forum asking about this, someone will probably give you a hand.
