SLED 10 mounts usb drives automatically. please help me disable this feature.
I just want to mount the usb drives manually(via command only).

how to disable automatic usb drives mount

#Add this line to fstab and check it
usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0

Then you stop the autofs service

No I didnt stop the autofs service.

I did the following
gconf-editor > desktop > gnome > volume_manager
and then removes the check from
automount_drives
automount_media
DONE
