    how to disable automatic usb drives mount


    OS: SLED 10 SP 1

    SLED 10 mounts usb drives automatically. please help me disable this feature.

    I just want to mount the usb drives manually(via command only).

    #Add this line to fstab and check it

    usbfs /proc/bus/usb usbfs noauto 0 0

    thanks for help, but this is the default settings in /etc/fstab, and this setting doesnt prevent usb to mount automatically

    I did the following
    gconf-editor > desktop > gnome > volume_manager

    and then removes the check from

    automount_drives
    automount_media

    DONE
