I don't know this package but it sounds like you must run it as root (at least first time ???)

normally you need to install such packages with root privileges. ie when you are logged in as root. If you were not root when you installed the package I suspect that is the problem.

When you try to run the command UbuDsl and it fails, can you post the output of the command "id". Cheers.

A normal user is not root. When you installed Suse you were asked for two passwords the first is for the root account. This is the special root user or in Windows terms the administrator. The second is for the first user account which you also supplied a name. This user does not have administration permissions.

Tell us exactly how you installed this RPM.

I don't know this program but it seems from your post that you need to be root to run it.
Your first user is not root even though you have the same password. In opensuse you can run it from a terminal by becoming root with
    Code:
    su
    "root password"
    "run program"
Of course, substitute "root password" with the actual password and "run program" with the program name.
    Pete
