A lost soul with the WMP54GS and ndiswrapper

Hey everyone. I just installed Linux and I'm very eager to learn it inside and out.

I, like many others, am having a pain-in-the-ass time trying to get the WMP54GS Wlan to install.

I followed a guide outlining what to do for the Wmp54G v.4.1 but to no avail. I can install the ndiswrapper drivers fine but my wlan card's activity light is still not active. It's like no matter what I do it won't recognize.

    It works in Windows fine.

    Any ideas? I'm using 10.3

I think I may know what's wrong. I've correctly installed the drivers, but I don't think my hardware is detected.

    ndiswrapper -l tells me

    Code:
Driver is present (alternate driver: bcm43xx)
But it doesn't say hardware present. YaST seems to recognize the fact that my network card is there but no matter what I've done I haven't been able to get activity lights on my network card. It will not work. It works fine in windows by the way:

    Any help will be appreciated!
