    Cannot install a graphics card

    Here's the 411:
I bought an ATI Radeon 9250 (PCI 256MB) a long time ago.
I formated my entire hard drive to SUSE 10.3, used to have windows, not anymore (160 GB)
I am pretty brand new to the whole linux experience so I need lots of help.
When I start my computer (graphics card installed on motherboard) the screen goes blank, even when I plug my VGA cord back into the original spot, still blank.
When I take out the card, it works as usual.
I don't have the drivers installed or anything.
Pretty much, new computer with linux (installed 2 days ago) tried putting my card in, doesn't work. I have WINE, i figured maybe I could install the driver from AMD using the xp version. Also, I do not understand how to install directx 9.x.
Please, much much needed help for a lonely man...

I checked out my BIOS settings, can't do what you said, can't change my board vga. Only option is changing PCI to AGP, which I have PCI.
