How to activate hypermemory in ATI card
Hieveryone,
After installing OS 11 and the new Ati drivers everything works fine but mysystem has only 64mb video memory while on windows it had 256 mb video memory?! I think its a function of the driver and shared memory, any idea how toactivated on linux if at all possible?

How much memory does your computer have? It is odd to have a shared memory video using 256meg memory.

Hi, thanks for helping out,
my notebook has 2 GB memory ( centrino 1.6), with a videocard ATI Mobility Radeon X700 + 256 MB video memory ( on windows)
But on opensuse withe the latest ati driver it shows only 64 Mb videomemory!!
is there a tweack to do?

There might be a configuration file that will fix that but you will have to get the info from the ATI web site or user forums.
