OpenSuse Problems after installation X wont start

Hello folks, been a while since i stopped by here, saw a few things that got me interested with OpenSuse 11 so decided to give it a go.

    My spex currently are:
    Core 2 duo overclocked @ 3GHz
    2 Nvidia GT 7900 ( With SLI bridge [ doesnt make a diff ] )
    4 GB Ram
    300GB HDD
    600w PowerSupply
    Gigabite Motherboard
WestingHouse 19" Widescreen Monitor Model: L1975NW

So, i install OpenSuse and installation goes by smoothly. I reboot and try to start X and it errors out. So i try to download the Drivers and it errors out saying that the ymp file doesnt specify any actions. After this, i try to start x again, and it says it does not detect any screens...any suggestions/help appreciated. Thank you.

Post the video section of the /etc/X11/xorg.conf file. Need to see what drive it is set to.

How did you download? It is best to get the Driver from NVIDIA site install gcc and kernel-source via yast ( in terminal mode) then run the NVIDIA installer.

    All above as root

You also may try removing one of the vidio cards untill you can get the GUI working and install the NVIDIA driver.

Think you better try remove one card then do a fresh install . Or you could download the nvidia driver and install it manually Nvidia Installer HOWTO for SUSE LINUX users . Your xorg.conf can't be empty cause it contains all info including keyboard and mouse
