    Exclamation [SOLVED] Major problem !!!!!!!!

    hey everyone,
    i made a stupid mistake. i had linux opensuse 10.3 on my system, i tried deleting it from my windows vista by formatting the partitions the linux is downloaded on.
    when i restarted my computer after the logo comes up it writes:
    GRUB S........1.3
    GRUB.............
    (the two line that it writes before going to the choice window i dont remmber them)
    Error?
    then it freezes and when i press on any key it peeps.
    I'm totally clueless and frustrated.
    please HEEEEEEEEEEEEEEELP

    waitin for any reply as soon as possible all my work is on that computer :S

    If you don't want any other GNU/Linux distro anymore, pick your Vista DVD, boot it, go to the repair console and do:

    Code:
    Bootrec /fixboot
    or even

    Code:
    Bootrec /fixmbr
    I never tried this, so I can't guarantee that works.

    first of all thnks for replying
    the problem is that the vista is backed up on the hard drive that's how i got my laptop.
    when i press f8 to log in to the boot menu nothing happens.
