Got ndiswrapper and win98 driver installed, iwconfig confirms. Still not seeing wireless adapter, no networks, no wireless.

What is my next step? Even getting desperate enough to find pcmcia card that is compatible.

    TIA,

You really should use the WinXP driver with NDISwrapper. This driver is reported to work with that chipset:
    ftp://61.56.69.18/cn/wlan/RTL8187B_driver_only.zip

Also, try the WinXP driver that came with the PC or wireless card.

ndiswrapper -l shows that the driver is installed. I don't really know what to do next since it still isn't showing up.

You need to configure it as a network card in YaST.

    Configure?

It currently shows up as a USB adapter. How would I change that?
