You can do hardware configuration in YaST.

Well I've been trying to mess with YaST but im still not exactly sure whats settings i need to use for making the internet work i run dsl , so im guessin i would go into dsl settings or somethin? Also for sound card ive been trying to find the sound card in the hardware and i figured it might of just gotten settup in the setup. I'm wondering if it might be easier to reinstal or not?

You need to enter the IP address of the default gateway. If you are using a router, then the IP address of the router is needed. If you are directly connected to the modem, I don't think that you need a default gateway. Both methods require using DHCP for getting your IP address, so configure it that way.
If you are not using a router with a hardware firewall, you should use and configure the SuSE firewall.
That reminds me. Your SuSE firewall may be preventing the internet connection. You could disable it for a short time to see if that is the problem. If you have a router with a firewall, you don't need the SuSE firewall.Paul

Im having a really tough time trying to get everything working i wrote down all the things from my internet and tried to run a DHCP server is what the thing is on settings. Im pretty new to Linux and it seems a big hassle , if i wanted some help with this if im new would it be good to try to find a computer store. As for an opinion. Do you think they might have any clue about linux or none at all?

You don't want to run a DHCP server, you are connecting to one. You want it to get an IP address from a DHCP server. That is usually a router, unless you are connected directly to the modem. Then the ISP is running the DHCP server, and providing the IP address. You may have a modem/router combination, unless you use dialup
If you ever set up a Windows connection, it is similar. The internet is the same no matter what operating system you use. A computer store may help, but I would look for someone with more Linux experience. A Linux User Group (LUG) would be good. Look here for one in your area.
