    Gnome- Sound issue

    I installed an SB Live sound card, and it seemed to install OK. But when I goto YAST & try to goto volume adjustment on the drop down, I get a code 11 error and the GUI will not open. I reinstalled ALSA and no luck. Any suggestions????

    In general, you need to post a lot more information before anyone can help you. At the very least, you should state which release you are trying (OpenSuSE 10.3? 11.0?) And whether it is 32-bit or 64-bit. You have not stated your motherboard type or processor type (no quite as important, but sometimes it makes a difference) and which version of SB Live sound card you have (there were a few).
