init 3 does not accept commands.
Hi. I am an absolute beginner and so need help with the following: to get sax2 to accept my graphics card running in 3d I isued the following commands in init3, sax2-r and sax2-r-m 0=nvidia. Both commands were not found. The strange thing is that the card runs 3d by default and Google earth and Sky work just fine after I downloaded a new driver. How do I get sax2 to give up this anoying behaviour? I hope someone will lend me a helping hand. Thank you!

Well the first thing is that YaST has been known to report a card not being 3D when it is, this is particularly a problem with nVidia cards.
The second trick is that you are missing spaces in the above commands;there is the command and then the argument for itThe best test however is to run glxgears. Open a terminal and run glxgears in it. If they spin freely and you get a decent report in the terminal after running for a while (think a few thousand fps/frames per second) then your driver is fine already.Code:init 3 sax2 -r sax2 -r -m 0=nvidia

reply to bigtomrodney on init 3 issue.
reply to bigtomrodney by mogul. Gears: 4176.290 fps. End message: fatal error 22 ( invalid argument) on X server " : 0.0 Init 3 still does not accept above commands whatever I did with the spacing. Though it bugs me, sax2 is not a big issue and I can live with it. If those 4176.290 fps are ok and the fatal thing is not fatal,I say lets call it a day and I thank you for your time.
