    Suse 11.0 Beryl

    I'm trying to get the beryl running, and i go to enable the desktop effects with the cube enabled, and it says enabled at the bottom, but when i exit out of "desktop effects", and then go back in, it's not enabled.

    I don't know if this not staying "enabled" is my problem or not.

    I had the same problem. I'm not too sure of the 'correct' solution but I updated the compiz-plugins - I wanted a desktop sphere instead of a cube - and rebooted, albeit for a different reason, but everything worked fine after that.
