Sharing HD between Windows and Linux

I have seeing some comments about the danger of sharing HD's between Windows and Linux (Dual Boot system). Is there currently a reliable solution to share a HD when I boot from Windows or Linux on the same machine? I mean in this case Read and WRite.

I have seeing some comments about the danger of sharing HD's between Windows and Linux (Dual Boot system).
Where did you read those comments? I am dual booting for last two years, sharing data in Linux/Windows and I haven't faced a single problem yet.
ntfs-3g package is pretty stable and allows NTFS read/write access in Linux. On the other hand, fs-driver allows ext3 read/write access in Windows OS and it is also a stable package.
It is amazing what you can accomplish if you do not care who gets the credit.
