    Are you able to use Backspace on Suse10.3 / 11

    Hmmm works fine for me. Maybe check to see if your hardware is compatible?

    Do you mean to go back a page? This behaviour was disabled by the Firefox team to make it more like the rest of the Linux environment. You can use Alt and left or right cursors for back and forward. This is much the same idea as moving Edit > Preferences to Tools > Options on Windows.

    But fear not, there is a way to enable this behaviour.

    Type about:config in the address bar and hit enter.
    Change the value browser.backspace_action to 0 (zero) and you will be able to use the backspace key to page back.
