    Partitioning Suse without reformatting Windows

I have a 250gb hard disk with Windows XP and Vista on it already. I still have sufficient amount of space for openSuse during setup it going to
    create swap
    create root
    create partition
    set mount point for windows1
    set mount point for windows2

when i click 'install' it says 'if you continue now, partitions on your hard disk will be formatted(erasing any exisiting data in those partitions) according to the installation settings in the previous dialogs'

not sure if this is going to reformat my windows as well, I don't really mind if it reformats my windows, but concern is..if it is going to remove the windows off the harddisk as well in the boot sector... (needs to do a triple boot)

in the booting i set my windows to default so hopefully it will boot windows first.

sorry I am a newbie at openSuse, not to sure what to do.

p.s. Also using a bootable CD to do installation

It will format only partitions that you set to format. Other ones will be untouched.

You must set the mount point ones to no format. IIR there is a check box.

    Welcome to the forums!

Take a look at the PartedMagic LiveCD because it makes easy work of partitioning for Linux, or Windows.
