i just have installed most of the software with out error finally. can i use ghost2003 to clone a image? or i have to use other tools?

Yeah Ghost does work. It supports Linux partitions but the cool thing is that Ghost does disk-at-a-time so that it'll work with any filesystem. When they say they support a filesystem it only applies to compressing images.
Partimage that deltaflyer mentioned is an excellent tool but the downside (at least last time I used them) is that it works with partitions instead of disks so you would have to copy your MBR seperately which is a bit of a pain.
