Taking a last stab at trying to solve a problem and hoping you guys can assist?

I need some details on configuring a linux box to use a certificate issued by a Microsoft CA. So generally, windows machines can talk to CA direct using a MMC and request a cert. Else it is possible to create an offline request, copy it manually to the CA , submit using UI, and get the cert and install it. Now I need to do the same with Linux but not sure how. I also need it to trust the root. If anyone knows how to do this that would be great. So far the only info I’ve seen is for self signed
