    internet thro ADSL-USB modem

    Greetings
I have broad band connection thro cable modem.
This connection is often down for days in a stretch during damp
weather that lasts several months a year.
I intend to get an additional connection thro ADSL-USB modem.

The sytem has one ethernet card(hardware) that has been configured
    for the cable connection.

Is it possible to acess the second connection and have a choice
to connect thro either on open suse 10.2.
The sytem has dual boot: winXP and opensuse-10.2.

    cheers

If you gonna use a usb modem you can use either wvdial or kppp
    To connect your modem
