    Cant Boot OpenSuse 11

    I downloaded the opensuse 11 live cd and when i go to boot it gets to the x config section in the text screen redraws and then the computer reboots, any ideas on how to get past that.

    system information
    on board video and second video card but onboard video i think is turned off in the bios, 512 mb ram 2 gb cpu.

    have you tried booting in vesa mode ?

    If I were you I'd try one of the following:

    * disable the onboard gpu/be sure having done so OR
    * uninstall the external graphics board

    I think Linux doesn't "know" what gpu to use for the output.
