Hallo!Please give me a DETAILED STEP BY STEP guide of how to configure Huawei E220 modem to work with Opensuse 10.3.Thanks in advance.

There really is not much to configure. Make sure that the users who intend to use the modem are in the dialup group. Plugin the modem, reboot the system and then configure an app like kppp with the dialup settings and you should be good to go.

i dont think you can use kppp as the e220 requires a pin code for your sim card you have too use wvdial anyway check this out Linux HOWTO (Card Setup) - Broadband & ADSL Forums - Internet, Gaming, Hardware, Software also there is another option this one but you might have some dependency problems eg python

I have an e220 and used it successfully with kppp on openSUSE 10.3. GnomePPP and kinternet also worked fine for me. The pin thing probably depends on your provider, because I didn't have to enter those details with 3UK.
