    Creating backup dvd

    Greetings
    I was wondering if its possible to create a backup dvd of my current installation settings and all So if ever something goes wrong i can just boot from the dvd and have my setup back to How it is now thanx guys

    This is my backup list on openSuse for a KDE setup
    Code:
    ~/.mozilla/
    ~/.gimp-2.4/splashes
    ~/.ooo-2.0/user/template/
    ~/.kde/share/apps/kdisplay/
    ~/.kde/share/apps/kstyle/
    ~/.kde/share/apps/kmail/
    ~/.kde/share/apps/kabc/std.vcf
    ~/.kde/share/apps/korganizer/std.ics
    ~/Documents/
    ~/.xbindkeysrc
    ~/.bashrc
    ~/bin
    That incorporates all the set up details I need. But I suppose if you back up the whole of your home folder you would get everything you need. You'd just have to be a little careful about what you replaced in the new set up.
