    unstable internet freezes

    Greetings

    The screen (open suse 10.2,KDE) freezes with unstable
    internet while winxp is not affected .

    I wonder if this can be overcome by changing some parameters in
    the appropriate daemon .

    On an earlier occasion a similar problem was solved after some
    hardware clean up by ISP. however that does not seem to be
    adequate in the present weather conditions.

    have you disabled ipv6 ?
