hey guys
i m having a Maxtor External harddrive
it is working pretty well if i plug out my internal hardrive till now
but when i insert the internal hardrive ...

booting from the external harddrive
hey guys
i m having a Maxtor External harddrive
it is working pretty well if i plug out my internal hardrive till now
but when i insert the internal hardrive & although change the priority to boot from the usb drive (ie Maxtor Basic) ... the computer some times shows the grub from the usb but when i press enter then it shows that its is not able to find the kernel
& sometimes it even didn't detect the usb drive
what to do yaar

Post your root,kernel,and initrd lines from grub.conf from usb
