ok this is pissing me off

In my earlier post I told you what was going on and it is still happening... I have no clue as to what the problem is but... Im about ready to go back to winblows if I cant get this resolved.

the system will simply not remember my password or maybe it is just not accepting it for whatever reason... either way I do not want to have to be booting into root nor do I find having to build a new profile each time I want to use my machine to be particularly great.

Nor are the caps locks on

Machine specs are: Suse 9.1 pro
    P4 2.53 ghz
    ram 1 gig
1 internal hdd, 1 external hdd
    nvidia vid card

    help please
