    Connecting to the internet

I have never used anything besides windows but I have heard alot of good things about Linux. A friend of mine installed Linux on my laptop. It works fine but he could not figure out how to get it connected to my wireless internet. If anyone knows how would you please help me? I have the SUSE version with KDE 4. I think it is SUSE 11.

Need to know what wireless chip/card you are using or the type and modal of the notebook.

I have an Everex laptop. I do not remember the name of the wireless card. I do know it starts with an "a" if that helps at all.

To check what wireless chipset you have on your system, look for the menu option to start s terminal and when the terminal is running, post the output of the commands below
    Code:
    lsusb
    and
    Code:
    /sbin/lspci | grep -i net
