    Not getting desktop

    hi,
    I m using SuSE Linux 11.0 and during reboot instead of selecting the "boot from Hard Disk" option which was set.... i selected "Installation" . From the initial setup of installation i aborted and rebooted the system and selected "boot from hard disk option" ..........Now my problem is after booting it goes to command prompt directly and not to Desktop......so i cannot run any GUI applications.......What i think is the X server may not be running? How do i restart if that is the problem?

    Could somebody help me with this issue?
