add partition/file system to logical volume

hi all,
very new to sles 10. installed on a dell poweredge 2900 using the dell system boot and utility disk. i need to add a partition to the logical volume but cannot figure out to to do it.

i have my machine setup as a raid 5 using 7 146gb disks with a 146gb hot spare.

any help will be greatly appreciated.
