i have this problem,

need to install qemu, and it warns me that if i compile with gcc 4.x i will get errors, so i am asking how should i install a 3.4.x version of gcc??, for example the latest 3.x version (3.4.6).

i downloaded the sources of gcc 3.4.6, and now im not sure if i should install as any commmon program, or do anything special since i have the other compiler which is the a newer version.

if someone could guide me through the right steps, would be great.
