Installing JDS or Java Desktop System

I heard on Wikipedia that the Java Desktop System ran on Suse, and specifically Suse 8.2 with further research.

I am basically looking for a distro that I have the option to install JDS over KDE or Gnome.I know it runs on early OpenSolaris but that distro was like Crux Linux in terms of trying to get everything up and running

I looked on Google for a while and couldn't figure it out. I just was wondering if there was maybe an OpenSuse Distro where it gives you the option to install it.

Finally, is their a repository for it anywhere?

JDS is just a customised version of Gnome. It runs a custom theme and the JDS aspect refers to it being ready to run Java applications. Sun themselves have given up on it as far as I'm aware and are now running vanilla Gnome. You will likely find better tools in a recent Gnome desktop. If you were interested I'd imagine you could download the JDS theme and apply it to a normal Gnome desktop.
