    suse linux 9 installation problems

    Dear friends ..problem is 2 monht later i bought a DVD of suse 9. i was successful in installing it through its graphical mode. yesterday i tried again to install suse ,after boot i clicked on normal installation option ,it lead me to new screen where itwas written 'initializing hardware' iwaited for further but it stuck on that .i re boot and tried to install in text mode in show black screen on which it detected my all hardware.like

    but after this .this dash keep on blinking ..please tell me what to do further?????

    Hmmm, SuSE ver 9 ? depending on your hardware,ver 9 is very out of date, there isn't support for it. Personally i would advise getting an up-to-date version

    Try, openSUSE 11 because SUSE 9.x releases are no longer supported.
