    Unhappy Problems in installing gcc in open suse

    I'm using open suse and i am not able to install gcc.Even the command: sudo apt-get install gcc is not working & it gave this error---sudo: apt-get: command not found so i download tarbell package from internet but i am not able to understand the complex installation manual.please someone help me!!! I will be highly grateful.

    You don't use "sudo apt-get install gcc" in openSUSE, thats an Ubuntu thing. What you need to do is run YaST -> Software -> Software Management and search for gcc and select it for installation. YaST is like a central control panel where most system administration work is done. It should be somewhere in the menu under System.
