    Thumbs up Boot problem

    In grub its showing
    Suse
    Suse linux (XE)
    windows
    Suse linux (Fail safe mode)

When i try to boot linux with any of the options above, i'm getting only the terminal. I can't see a GUI.
There were no fatal errors during Boot.
I tried ctrl+alt+F1, It doesn't solve the problem.
    How can i fix it?

    Exclamation

    Result of the startx command
    Code:
tee: /root/.X.err :Read only file system.
There is no link /var/X11R6/bin/X to the correct X server binary.
Please configure the correct X server with SaX/SaX2, which will create the missing link. I'm aborting now.
    what shud i do?

    Execute this
    Code:
    sax2
Reconfigure display settings. Execute startx command again.
In case it doesn't work, post the output of this
    Code:
    /sbin/lspci | grep -i vga

Were you logged in as root before running sax2??

If you were it looks like the install was not complete.

How much space did you allow Suse to have on the hard drive??
