Estimating packages
when installing SuSE 9.1, i get into YAST and it searches for the mouse, HD and everything else. it then asks if I want a new installation, upgrade, abort, etc. I pick new installation and it then says something like: estimating packages and it sits there forever. never doing anythign differnt. I cant press abort (cause it doesnt work) whats the deal? why does it freeze and what can I do?

Re: Estimating packages
How long are you giving it to sit there before you give up? That part of the install took a very long time for me, even on a dual processor machine. Give it about half an hour and if it's *still* stuck, let me know. Also, unplug any USB devices you may have before running the installer.
