facing same issue "compiler doesn't support bool type"
i am facing same issue. i tried compiling an example code containing bool with the gcc and g++. gcc didn't recognise bool, but g++ did. so i tried defining CC=g++ and CXX=g++ for lam configuration. but it still giving same error.
if anybody aware of the issue, your help is much awaited.
thanks and regards

Ok why are you guys trying to compile this? It appears that LAM is available pre compiled from the OpenSuse repository
