    Smile DNS resolving....sometimes.

Hi all. I have a puzzling problem on my suse 10.3 server. it runs DHCP, Squid, dns and iptables to masqurade. eth0 has an outside IP address and eth1 serves my lan serving up dhcp samba ect. the problem I have is most internet sites resolve perfectly either on the susebox or windows pcs on my lan, but there are a few sites namely Assureweb - Time saved. Simplicity assured. & Untitled Document and quite a few others will not.
If I do an nslookup the ip address of the site comes back ok, yet niether links, firefox or IE7 will resolve or display the sites. I have gone through the various settings and looked at the resolve.conf file but all seems to be set correctly.
Interestingly the server hosts a domain called jibend.co.uk and that all seems to work fine except I hven't set up the mail or web for it yet, but I can ping externaly from other pcs at home ect using the name.
    Hope some1 can help!
I also remember having a similar problem with debian where half the internet wouldnt resolve but half did. I never got to the bottom of that one.
and turning squid off dosen't help.
    Thanks in advance guys.

try by stopping IPTables and Squid both.

I think this is related to Squid only but you can try.
