chroot & Illegal Instruction
I have a target platform (Linksys NAS200, Network Storage System) which was shipped preloaded with busybox. The busybox installation was configured to work in a read only mode with minimal support. Therefore, I decided to load a Linux Filesystem on the available hard disk and carryout my work.
To do so, I installed SuSe10.2 on the hard disk and mounted it at mnt of the busy box. But whenever i try to change root, it throws an error Illegal Instruction,
Any clue why this is happening?
When I tried the same with a Ubuntu installation, it worked fine..... Since I need a driver to be installed (which happens in SuSE and not in Ubuntu, ) I had to migrate to SuSE.....
Kindly respond if you have some suggestions
