    Similar question to previous newbie


    When I try to log on to root , it logs into YaST automatically.

    I tried clicking menu and the login screen and changing the session type but when i hit menu the only options are: Restart X Server, Logout

    Any help is greatly appreciated.

    SuSe 9.1 personal
    p4 2.8 ghz 800fsb
    512mb striped ddr
    gigabyte titan p4 mobo
    cable iNet conn
    40gb wd
