    Post POSTFIX problem! I can't send emails from other computer

    Hello ,

    I have an annoying problem with postfix email server !

    So... I have an opensuse server with postfix installed on it .

    The server is at the office and at the office I can send and receive emails without problem .
    But at home I can't send email from my computer I can only receive ..
    I think problem is arround the hostnames but a don't know where exactly to set up the setings for sending emails from anywhere , not only from localhost ...

    Is somebody knows how to fix this please help !!

    most of the mail servers dont receive mail from a dynamic ip, ip without reverse lookup etc. in order to use the smtp of your local server on dynamic ip you need to setup postfix with smtp authentication to any isp or mail provider like gmail
    postfix has support for smtp auth, you need to enter the credentials in main.cf
