    Hi Everybody,

Today I installed suse linux enterprise desktop 10 sp 2 on my Acer Travel Mate 5720,

Installation went just fine and everything else is ok, but now I am not able to play video files such as .avi, .wmv, .mov etc...

How to install video players such as vlc or mplayer..?

Should I add some installation sources? If yes how?

SLES 10 is generally compatible with openSUSE 10.1, so if you need multimedia stuff, then setup the Packman repository for openSUSE 10.1.

Ya Thanks guys, finally with your guidance and some basic searching on the internet I managed to add Packman and other repositories and installed VLC and Mplayer...

However, I have an Issue again, the volume level in this OS is very less though I set it to maximum, in windows it is much better, do I have to install any particular library or what should I do?

I installed Alsa drivers and libraries that came along with the laptop, still no hope, can you help me ?

Also, video won't run smooth, it breaks and pause during the play.... but the same video runs perfect in windows....
