Can't get into GUI after reboot
I'm running SLES 10 and had no problems at all until this morning...
I've now got a problem that has occurred after I rebooted the server, instead of booting up into the ususal desktop and GUI I now just get to a login prompt. I can login as a user and then tried typing in "startx" to start the gnome desktop but I just got a load of error messages (at bottom of this post).
My server is running PLESK and is our webserver with 200 + sites on so I have to be very careful in troubleshooting this that I don't affect the sites - which are still working without the GUI thankfully.
Could anyone suggest a way round this? I need the user interface (am still a bit of a newb). Even if I have to reinstall gnome I don't mind as long as all my files and settings remain intact. Or am I just missing something obvious?
Would REALLY appreciate some help/advice on this
Anyway here is what happen when I try and run startx after logging in:
