    Help installing programs

    OK so I'm following this
The Perfect Desktop - OpenSUSE 11 (GNOME) - Page 4 | HowtoForge - Linux Howtos and Tutorials

I was good until this page and my suse looks totally different. I think it's because I'm using KDE and not GNOME(I hope I'm right and I didn't just sound like a total idiot) if so what can I do to continue following this and get all the programs?

To manage software, whether you are using KDE, GNOME etc, you need to run YaST -> Software Management. You have several options there e.g. to add community repositories, do upgrades, install software, remove software, etc.

I tried that, but the problem is it doesn't look like on the page I have to search for the software which makes it harder. I'll try again maybe I missed something.
