problem with graphic card

hi all
i use suse linux6.4 on old pentium three system becase i work with special software that only work with this version of linux i upgraded computer system to 3.20ghz pentium4 with gygabyt motherboard and nvidia geforce7300se graphic card after this when i start new system (with old hard disk) kde can't started and i can only work in text mode becase the linux version is old and can't support new graphic card(nvidia geforce 7300)any body advice me what i can do for solveing this problem

That is very old and it may be much more then the video that will have problems with the old drivers.

Try editing the /etc/X11/XD86Config file (or if it is there xorg.conf file) change the driver to "visa".

There is no chance of updating the application to a new OS???? Maybe recompiling it???

The correct spelling for the driver is "vesa". I recently made the exact same mistake in another post.
