    Adobe Air installer problem

Hello friends. I have been trying to install the Adobe Air beta all morning but can't seem to get it right. I have followed the instructions on Adobe Labs - Adobe AIR for Linux but after I have made the bin file executable I double click it and I get an error message.

The Error message can be seen on the screen shot:

Can somebody help me out? Am I doing something wrong?
    All help is much appreciated!

    Thanks!

Instead of clicking the bin file, start a terminal and run the command
    Code:
    /home/spyros/Desktop/adobeair_linux_b1_091508.bin
On a side note, can you make your screenshot a bit smaller or just post the part with the error message.

hi there move the file to your home directory then

you have to make this file executable type this

    chmod +x adobe **** .bin

than you can install with this
    ./ adobe ***.bin

you have to put the whole file name you might have to be root too install

Nope... nothing happened. My file got dumped. Is it possible that the file that is on the Adobe website is corrupted and they don't know it? Check the error message bellow.

PS Thanks for all your help by the way mate

I have downloaded the file many times... do you think it is possible that they might have a corrupted file uploaded?

Do you have 32bit or 64 bit Linux installed?? It may require the same bits for the app or some required library
